Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
How Family Care collects, uses and shares consumer health data, and how to access or delete it. Required by the Washington My Health My Data Act.
Last updated: 2026-10-29
This policy covers consumer health data as defined by the Washington My Health My Data Act, Nevada's consumer health data law and similar state laws. It adds to our Privacy Policy.
The free medication list maker keeps everything in your browser and does not send it to us, so it collects no consumer health data. This policy is about Family Care, our paid reminder service.
What we collect
- the names of people you care for, and optional details you add: date of birth, allergies, doctor, pharmacy and emergency contact
- their medicines: name, dose, what each one is for, times, instructions, pill appearance and refill date
- reminder records: when each reminder was sent and whether it was marked as taken or missed
Why we collect it
Only to provide the Family Care service you asked for: to send medication reminders, to record when a dose is marked as taken, to alert the family contacts you choose, and to show the information back to you. We do not use it for anything else.
Where it comes from
From you, when you fill in a Family Care profile, and from the person who taps I took them in a reminder email.
Who we share it with
- Resend, our email provider, which delivers reminders and alerts that list the medicines due.
- Cloudflare, which hosts the service and its database.
- The people you choose: the reminder email address and the family contacts you add, after each of them confirms.
These providers process the data only on our behalf. We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Your rights
You can:
- see whether we hold consumer health data about you and access it, at Settings → Family Care
- see the list of third parties we share it with (above)
- delete it: remove a profile at Settings → Family Care, or everything at Settings → Profile → Delete account. Deletion is permanent. Copies of emails already sent are kept by our email provider only for its short delivery-log period.
- withdraw consent by deleting the data or your account at any time
To exercise any right by email, or to appeal a decision we made about your request, write to support@medicationlisttemplate.com. We will respond within 45 days. If we deny an appeal, you can contact your state attorney general.
Changes
The date at the top shows the latest version. We will ask for your consent again before collecting or sharing consumer health data in a new way.
